Running a business, big or small, requires teamwork. In 1998, my wife and I partnered together to begin our furniture manufacturing company. We eased into becoming Buckeye Furniture by building beautiful china hutches and pie safes. As time passed, our catalog grew to include more designs and entertainments centers, but we knew greater things were to come.

Roughly seven years after our manufacturing business began, we bought out a chair company in Napanee, Indiana. It was an exciting transition in our line of business, but it couldn’t be done alone. My brother Wayne, the owner of Ashery Oak, stepped in and took on the entertainment pieces to allow us to focus on our new projects.

Since 2011, we have gone on to build bedroom furniture. Though we no longer build china hutches and pie safes, our desire to build quality furniture remains the same.
